Combined shippingeBay will automatically combine shipping costs where available, as long as you pay for all the items at once. You can do this by using "Buy It Now" to purchase multiple items (do not proceed to pay), and then once you've purchased them all, go to your Purchase History at my.ebay.com and there should be a Pay Now link that lets you pay all at once.
Tracking informationTracking is standard on all UPS and USPS Priority Mail shipments. Once your label has been printed, the tracking number is automatically added to your transaction details page, which is found in your Purchase History at my.ebay.com. You should also receive a notification from eBay. This usually occurs within 1 business day.
WarrantiesAll of my items are warrantied to be free of defects in craftsmanship, regardless of brand. If you receive a product or part and it does not function properly or is damaged, I will replace it at no charge. Usually I will send out a replacement part within 3 business days of being notified of the defective part. I may follow up with you and ask questions to determine the nature of the defect prior to sending the replacement. In most cases I will have UPS pick up the defective part using a call-tag, so you will not need to generate or pay for a label. For locations that are more economical to ship USPS (Post Office), I will reimburse any postage costs.
Shipping servicesI offer several options for UPS and USPS shipping for most of my listings, both domestic and international. Check the Shipping and payments tab on the listing page for shipping options, costs, and time.
Shipping damageI repack items as necessary, to ensure nothing arrives damaged. In the event that you do receive an item that is damaged from shipping handling, it will be covered. I usually have to file a claim with the shipper, and the process may take a few days to a week before I can send a replacement.
Time in transitTime in transit is always quoted in business days. These are the days that the shipping company operates. All shipping and freight companies operate Monday through Friday, not including holidays. As of this writing USPS (Post Office) still operates on Saturdays, but they may be switching to a Monday-Friday schedule soon.
Example: If I ship an item on Monday via UPS Ground to the east coast, it will be a 5 day delivery time, meaning it will arrive the following Monday. Keep in mind that if you purchase something Friday evening, after 3-4:00pm (PST), I probably won't be able to ship until Monday.
I do ship internationally and you can usually get your shipping cost and time on the Shipping and payments tab on the listing page. Tracking information is added by the next business day to the transaction details page in your Purchase History.
PayPal payment types (eCheck vs Instant Transfer)When paying with PayPal, you can pay using an eCheck or an Instant Transfer. eChecks take a few days to clear before I receive the money and can ship. Instant Transfers are immediate and preferred, so I can ship right away. If you only have a bank account linked to your PayPal account, you may only be able to send eChecks. To send an Instant Transfer, you need a bank account linked and a backup funding source (a credit or debit card usually).
Exhaust Manifold Related Questions
Manufacturers/BrandsI have exhaust manifolds, risers, and elbows from Sierra Marine, Osco Motors, and Barr Marine. Most of the exhaust parts I sell are made in the USA by one of these manufacturers, and the specific brand is generally specified in the listing. These brands are fully compatible with each other, so there is nothing wrong with mating a Sierra manifold to an Osco riser (for example).
Port and StarboardWhen referring to the side of the engine that an exhaust manifold goes on, it is common to use the terms port and starboard. Regardless of whether your engine uses an inline transmission or a v-drive, the port and starboard sides will always be consistent. When looking at the rear of the boat, towards the front, the port side is your left and the starboard side is your right.
Part identificationTo identify what manifold you have, it is usually best to look for a casting number on your current part. The casting number will appear in different locations on the manifold, depending on the manufacturer. These casting numbers can usually be matched up with the part numbers or cross reference I have listed on my eBay listings. If you can't find casting numbers, the next best way is to take a digital picture and send it to me. I can almost always identify the exhaust manifolds, risers, or elbows, if they are something I have. If that isn't an option, I can sometimes determine the correct exhaust part based on your engine year, make, and model.

When purchasing a steering kit to install on a boat that didn't have a steering system before, or had a different style of steering system, you will likely have to measure the route of the new steering system to get a length. Depending on if you're installing a hydraulic or a mechanical system, you will want to follow one of these guides:

Note that the Baystar hydraulic kit (HK4200A) comes with 20ft hoses that you cut to length. So as long as you don't need longer than 20ft hoses, you will not need to worry about ordering a specific hose length. The mechanical steering systems (SS141, SS137, SS132, SS147, SS151) and the Seastar hydraulic kit (HK6400A) do require a specific length. When ordering, please include the length needed in the Comments section of the eBay/PayPal transaction.
Hydraulic steering is usually smoother, more consistent, and sends less feedback through the steering wheel than mechanical steering. It is also considerably more expensive. Detemrining whether hydraulic is right for you or not is something that you will have to decide based on your budget and steering comfort needs.

MountsMagma Gourmet and Connoisseur Series Grills now come with foldable legs that are roughly 6 inches long. You can still use any of their boat mounts to mount them to boat railing and fishing rod holders/sockets. Magma Kettle series grills do not come with legs and require a mount to be used for safe operation.
